Polyclinic Cum Diagnostic Centre
We all know that there is no good diagnostic center in the Batanagar-Maheshtala area. We also have to travel to Kolkata to consult specialist doctors. To solve this problem, a polyclinic-cum-diagnostic center is being set up on the ground floor of the hostel building. This center will provide advanced healthcare services at a minimal cost, regardless of caste or religion. It will offer various blood tests, ultrasonography, X-rays, ECG, and consultations with specialist doctors. Seven consultation rooms for doctors have already been built, and the remaining rooms are being prepared. The plan is to start the polyclinic within this year.
Pallimangal and Bookstall
To fulfill the long-standing demand of devotees and the general public, a bookstall and a Pallimangal stall are being set up to the left of the temple. The bookstall will sell religious books, especially those related to the Ramakrishna movement. The Pallimangal stall will offer pure ghee, honey, spices, incense sticks, and other products made in different ashrams, along with pictures of Thakur, Maa, Swamiji, and other Maharajas. This project is also planned to start within this year.
Newly Student Hostel
The ashram hostel is being renovated with a new look. Two additional floors have been built above the old bathroom. On the second floor, a new kitchen, dining hall, storage room, and bathroom have been constructed. On the third floor, there are rooms for the hostel superintendent and other staff members.
